The Out Writer reads to your child, asks questions, and writes down what they say — their words, not the computer's. Then it hands you an Integrity Log proving every word is theirs.
Install Free — 7-Day TrialThe Out Writer replaces a stack of disconnected apps with one Socratic assistant that does what the best human tutors do:
No AI writes for your child. The AI asks. Your child thinks. Their words go on the page.
Every session produces a timestamped log showing each question the AI asked and each answer your child gave. You can see exactly where their ideas came from — them.
Hand it to a teacher. Bring it to an IEP meeting. It's the first document that proves what your child can do when the right tool is in place.
Q1: What's something you know a fair amount about — something you could talk about for a while if someone asked?
A1: I think you should buy this app because it makes you speak up more and it helps you a lot and you don't have to use a keyboard or something to do it you just have to do it like talk and you don't really have to do anything and if you have headphones you can spend around on the chair if you want because you can it connects and you can and if you even don't have headphones you can say it and speak up more that's basically why the whole app is created and you can learn a lot so hope you buy it
Q3: You're doing it right now — rolling around, talking, and it's actually working. That's a pretty good demonstration.
So someone who's sitting at a desk trying to write — what does that change for them?
A3: you don't have to stay at one desk you can go to like Walker wherever you want if it's connected still you don't have to stay in one spot so it changes everything like you can't even do that on like a thing on your phone either tell so because it won't vary what I mean can't do it like that much on texts thing but you don't have to do that much stuff so
Excerpt from a real session log. Names changed.
I scored in the 96th percentile on aptitude tests — without accommodations. The diagnoses describe my output channel, not my mind. My daughters are the same.
I built The Out Writer because I watched my daughter explain something perfectly at the kitchen table, then watched the school say she couldn't write. The paper never showed what I knew was there.
Three questions. One essay. Every word hers. The Integrity Log proved it.

Try it tonight. Your child writes their first essay before you decide.

New Jersey regulation N.J.A.C. 6A:14-3.7(c)(10) requires the IEP team to consider assistive technology at every meeting. If the evaluation recommends these accommodations, The Out Writer is the tool that delivers them — at school and at home.
